What Can I Do?

Welcome to the Girl Scouts of Western New York Family!  In order to make your daughter's experience be the best it can be, we want to make sure that you are not only well – informed about our organization, but know what you can do to help out.

Some Suggestions:

• Be active as a parent.  Attend organizational meetings to make sure that you "pitch in" to help the troop be the best it can be.  Some examples of helping out might be helping with refreshments, driving girls to events, making phone calls or actually helping out at troop meetings.  Be sure to ask your daughter's leader how you can help the troop.
• Support Product Sales and any other fund raising activities the troop may have. 
• Support your daughter's Leaders - Girl Scouts would not be what it is if it were not for those dedicated volunteers. Fill out all paper work promptly and accurately.  Respect the Leaders' time by promptly picking up and dropping of your daughter. 
• Become an official Girl Scout volunteer.
