1.       Welcome to Girl Scouts of Western New York, Inc., thank you for your interest in making a difference in the life of a girl! 

2.        Please download and fill out the following form packet and send the completed forms to your nearest Service Center.

3.       You will be contacted by a Service Unit Leadership Team Member or a Mission to Market Staff Member who will interview you identifying your interests, skills, talents and availability making sure your Girl Scout volunteering experience is the best it can possibly be for you and the members of Girl Scouts of Western New York.

4.       Your Volunteer Application, Reference Checks and Background Screenings will be ongoing.  (All information is kept strictly confidential)

5.       You will be notified as to whether your application has been accepted, given a volunteer position description, and scheduled for required orientation and training sessions.

6.       You will receive Orientation to Girl Scouting, for Girl Scouts of Western New York and for Girl Scouts of the USA.  (Training)

7.       You will become familiar with your "Web of Support"

8.       Based on your volunteer position, additional training may be necessary.

9.       Girl Scouts of Western New York is committed to recognizing and appreciating all of its volunteers.

10.   Evaluation and Reassignment.  At the end of your volunteer period, the Mission to Market Team Members and / or your Service Unit Leadership Team will meet with you to evaluate and discuss your future as a volunteer with Girl Scouts of Western New York.
